A monovarietal olive oil. Bouteillan is a variety from the department of Var, originating in town of Aups and the most representative of the Estate. It is a typical vegetable oil, with a taste of "fresh hay." It has a very slight bitterness, aromas of tomato and artichoke leaves, sorrel, with notes of green banana and green apple. On the nose, a scent of greenery! Bouteillan is the perfect accompaniment to tomato and mozzarella with basil, or fish just out of the oven, cooked in foil, grilled or steamed. Enjoy on stir-fried or steamed vegetables, with baked potatoes, sprinkled with fresh-ground pepper and a pinch of salt!
