Detailed description

Brought back by Mr. Frézier from Chile to Plougastel in 1714 and planted in this region which, until the 1940s, was the leading strawberry producing region in France. Since then, strawberries have also been grown in Sologne, in the Eastern Pyrenees and in semi-mountainous regions. The flavor of this fruit essentially depends on the soil and climate.
